Don't really like the big pubco chain restaurants. This one is superior though. A proper steakhouse and if that's not your thing the choice isn't great. Good service, friendly and helpful. Food was good though the salad on my ribs was comically small. It serves its market well but I wouldn't rush back personally.

This is the first Miller and Carter to open in the area and seems to have created quite a buzz. Needs to really as it’s got a very odd location in a former suburban pub on the road to nowhere on the outskirts of Poulton. Very busy when we went over Xmas and quite bright and glitzy, albeit a modern-day version of an Aberdeen Steak House. Have to say the steaks were good and if you stick to them you’ll be OK. But the nachos to start with were bad and the lettuce wedge – much touted by the waitress, served pre-steak and supposedly one of their USPs – was an absolute disgrace. Probably our first and last visit.
