About Modhu Mitha Tandoori
Modhu Mitha opened in 1980 and is the oldest Indian restaurant in both Mansfield and the whole of Nottinghamshire. This popular restaurant has stood the test of time and had a major refurb in April 2019 emerging with a fresh and modern look with new tables, booths and lighting. It’s open seven nights a week from 5pm and for Saturday and Sunday lunch. The extensive menu ranges from traditional Indian favourites to must-try chef’s specials and delicious Mughlai delicacies with an extensive wine list to complement your meal. As well as the a la carte, there’s a good-value four-course meal available every day and on the last Sunday of the month Modhu Mitha runs a special buffet. Takeaways orders get a 10% discount on menu prices with a speedy delivery service seven days a week.
