Moon restaurant wilmslow rd m20...................absolutely fantastic....food and staff as well as the price. They even do a great take away. We have been going here for some time now and we would NOT go any where else..................5 star plus.
Curry Man
The moon was disappointing, the portions were small compared to any Indian restaurant I have ever been to. The food was tampered to meet the British market. In my opinion, if you want a real Indian meal, you should go to saajan original on the corner opposite lal quila in rusholme or sanams. These restaurants are the true thing APNA as the Asian people say .Any body who recommends this place does not know what real Indian food is.
St Helens Gordon Ramsey!!!
I have been the Moon Restaurant on 2 occasions now and both times have been a night to remember. The staff can not do enough for you; the food is I must say unlike any Indian curries that I have had before. There is no grease swimming on the top of you dish and the rice is the fluffiest I have ever experienced. The nan bread is fresh made from the oven straight to you table and they have the nicest keema nann, made as spicy or as bland as you like. A recent survey (the independent news paper) says that the Moon Indian is the 4th best Indian curry house in the UK, I can tell you I live 40 miles away from the restaurant and it is worth every mile of the drive. If the Moon keeps up the quality of food and service I am sure they will be pushing that number 1 spot pretty soon.

we went to the moon last week after reading that it had been voted one of the top 10 curry houses in the country by the guardian. It didn't disappoint. The food was fresh, very tasty and in a different league to much of the standard fare offered up in Rusholme. For 4 of us for 2 courses and a few beers the bill came to £58. Will definitely be returning soon.

You aint had a curry till you've been to the moon! Fantastic service, impeccable toilets means impeccable kitchen to me! Generally, one of, if not the, best curry house in south Manchester... Go and try it!

I've been going to the Moon for nearly 10 years now, and the quality has never wavered. Even when I've not been living in Manchester, any weekend visit included a meal here. The mixed grill Kararhi is amazing.

Been to this restaurant a few times now, have enjoyed it more each time.
The recent refurbishment just adds to the great atmosphere. Very good value for money.

Easily one of the best Indian restaurants in Manchester. Forget Rusholme, where all the food looks and tastes the same, Moon offers authentic Indian cuisine for a modest price. Okay, the decor may be a little dated, stuck in the 70's but for a curry you can't beat it
