Located on Cuppin Street in the heart of Chester, Moules a Go-Go has long been a favourite serving locals and visitors in a stylish and contemporary setting spread over two floors. As the name suggests, it's a venue that's famous for its mussels, hand gathered fresh from the shores of Anglesey and their kilo pots are served six ways - Mariniere, Classic, Harlech, Green Thai Curry, Bloody Mary and Penang – with either frites or crusty bread. But if mussels aren’t your thing the menu offers plenty of other interesting options. Mains range from 21 day aged 10oz Ribeye, green beans, Korean fried Chicken Burgers, and Seafood linguine or Pan Fried Sea Bass with sauteed mushrooms and spinach. There’s a good-value lunch menu (£12.50 for two courses) served from noon until 6pm and various midweek offers. Moules A Go Go also runs special race day packages, regular wine tasting evenings and ‘Lobster Friday’ on the last Friday of each month.
