Visited Mugal after attending a show at the Waterside arts Centre. Extremely impressed with staff and meal, £55 for 4 main courses with nans, popadoms and drinks.

Visited on friend? recommendation and wasn't disappointed. The meal was smaller than other restaurants that I visit but the quality was superb actually tasting like home cooked food rather than the mass produced curries swimming in oil that I have suffered at other establishments. The wait in-between courses was anything between 15 and 25 minutes but again that wasn't a problem as it gives time to digest the food and enjoy a drink and chat. This restaurant has now been promoted to my local Indian as it leaves the others with a lot of catching up to do.
