It's a shame this is a really nice deli cum café with some very good food but I won't be visiting them again. I placed my order and paid at the counter. The excellent cappuccino arrived promptly and I was anticipating a delicious veggie breakfast. However when the food arrived it was cold apart from the fried egg. I took it back to the counter and explained that it was cold. The staff apologies and quickly served me another veggie breakfast. Unfortunately this was the same one but with an extra sausage and potatoes heated up in a microwave with the cold beans, mushrooms, tomato and fried egg with the pepper on from the previous plate.

Very poor sandwich...the ham and cheese "melt" was scarcely warm on the outside and cold on the inside, also hardly any cheese with a sickly sweet chutney...this and 2 small coffees to take out for £8.10....felt like I'd been mugged.

I have had the chance to come across The north star deli during a business visit, and I must say what a nice surprise!
I eat out a lot because of my work and for pleasure, and what a selection in the deli, great food, fab looking place and to finish you must must try the owner favorite "gourmandise" the famous french MACARON !! Being from Paris I do know my macaron, this is perfect for a little gift for someone with a sweet tooth or to compliment your coffee. So keep up the good work guys and Ladure'e better watch out.

You would be hard pressed to find a better deli anywhere ...
I know my sandwiches and the sandwiches at north star cannot be beaten.

This beautifully designed deli is the place to go if you like your coffee which washes their home made cakes down a treat.
I went to a party recently and North Star had done the catering - the food was excellent! So tasty and well presented. Very different from the usual brown suspects you usually get on cold buffets.

Went in here on a sunny Sunday afternoon, and had a couple of excellent sandwiches, freshly made, in cool and funky simple white decor. A lovely place to go for a light snack, and pick up one or two delightful little items while you're there.
