Great good, great value. No pie and chips here. The deserts are amazing. Great service including a smile. Nice atmosphere. Good bar aswell. Thank you for a lovely meal and a great evening, if in Devon would certainly go back again.

as i live in town i spend quite a bit of times in the local pubs, and having been in every pub in town the Old Market in undoubtedly has the best atmosphere than the rest. the staff are always smiling and laughing and not only doing a great job but half the time entertaining the customers as well. Definitely the best beer in the town and the new karaoke nights seem to be a hit with the locals, and every one seems to enjoy themselves. great idea and hopefully it will continue as a Market tradition

We were told of this new and wonderful pub that had just opened in Holsworthy, and we should go down and try the carvery. We travelled from Bude, and realised when we got there that the pub was the Old Market Inn. My first thoughts were, I've been here before and did not enjoy it one bit. However I was convinced by my partner to carry on with our plans. We met up with our friends inside the pub and wow what a difference. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the atmosphere was fantastic. We sat on the leather sofas reading the complementary papers until it was time to go through. We walked through to what was a busy yet very well organised restaurant and shown to our table by the courteous and bubbly waitress, and then up to the carvery. With a choice of three meats and endless veg and roast pots, it was hard to make my mind up. After eating what seemed to be a mountain of food we retired back to the bar for coffee and other refreshments. We would like to say a big thank you to the new owners for looking after us so well, and look forward to seeing them very soon. More than likely next Sunday.

I have dined at the Old Market Inn three times now, and each time for a different reason.
The first was a few weeks ago with a couple of friends, the atmosphere in the new Derriton Restaurant was warm and inviting. The food was superb and could not vault the waiting staff. With this in mind I booked for the Sunday Carvery, and again I was amazed with the level of service and the quality and quantity of food. The beef was one of the best I have had in for many a year.
The last time was only a couple of days ago, at our staff Christmas Party. The staff looked after us very well, and the food was again perfect (only to be expected really).
I have tried other restaurants and pubs within the area, and to be honest I think The Old Market Inn tops them all. I hope they continue with the level of food that they are doing, they have set the benchmark for others to follow. They deserve all the praise they get !!!

Well, what can i say! This is a fantastic place to eat, the food was gorgeous, cooked to my liking and very reasonably priced. I had a fantastic waitress who was ever so helpful. The beer was the best i had ever tasted, the bar maid was really friendly & chatty. I recently visited two other establishments in Holsworthy that week, and the Olde Market Inn in my opinion beat them hands down!!! I will definitely be going back there in the future. ONE OF THE BEST PUBS I HAVE EVER BEEN IN!!

Top marks, Have had several meals, Without fault, Freshly cooked - to how i like it, Real food at real value, Nothing's to much trouble & after trying the rest, It's the best food in the town. Oh & You need to try the beer.

This was the first time we have eaten at the Old Market since the new owners have taken over. WOW what a change. The restaurant has now been full refurbished, and the chef is first class. The food and choice was second to none, and the dessert, oh the desserts are to die for.
