This is a conveniently located restaurant with good food at a reasonable price - much better than any other local pub. However, our visit there was a little disappointing in that one of the male staff appeared to have had little or no training in how to do his job. Firstly, no festive menu was offered in when it was advertised outside, a cold Christmas pudding with cold custard and a generally unprofessional attitude. His colleagues had to keep covering for him.The most annoying thing was to have all the plates removed from the table while one person was still eating. Inept, rude and ignorant service - please train him up before you lose more customers.
