Lovely meal in the olive tree night! Will be going again.

2 empty plates when we visited on Friday as the food was delicious and washed down by a pleasant Pinot Grigio. Served by the lovely Faye and entertainment by the delightful Tony Benedict. Very nice evening indeed.

We all had a great time at the Olive Tree Brasserie last night. We had our office Christmas party and the food, service and live music were all top notch.

Excellent food well worth the visit and friendly staff. Obviously bringing your own wine is a bonus but with such tasty food, definitely worth visiting over and over again.

Overpriced, food lacked any authenticity. St annes post code is being used here to charge people over the odd prices, waited 10 mins to get a drink, go over the road to the little italian tapas place much better

Table for 4 on Saturday 07/07/12. As a vegetarian for 30 years the halloumi main course was delicious. One of our friends is French/Algerian & eats mainly lamb. She raved about the lamb shoulder saying it was the best lamb dish she has ever had & insisted telling the chef! All starters & main courses were faultless.
Good service & good value. Looking forward to our next visit.

Recession, what recession? This place was packed this last (post-Valentine) weekend which tells you what you need to know. Food was good, atmosphere great and my only slight criticism would be that the courses whizzed out of the kitchen way too fast. Maybe they were hoping to turn the table.
For the love of Greek
Called in for an early bird as the place had been recommended. The approach with dim lighting and Greek music was spot-on.
The small selection on the early bird looked good and as we eat meze style, thought it would give us a sample of the food on offer.
Once the order was taken I was amazed that the two starters were on our table within about 2 minutes. The 3 meatballs looked lovely but lacked some flavour. The garlic mushrooms were only luke warm. Both were supplied with a very small piece of bread, not sufficient to mop up the sauce - very much a part of greek eating.
The two main courses were supplied equally quick. The moussaka was tasty, but the chicken souvlaki was far from the Greek fast-food that we know from our travels. The pieces of chicken had no marinade on them, the olive oil, lemon and oregano, and no skewer! Once again the dish was less than hot.
There was no oil and vinegar on the table, once again an important element of greek eating.
So, we been, would we go again?? there are better Greek tavernas on the Fylde coast!

We have been a few times and most enjoy the entertainment nights. The place is usually very busy but the food and service is top drawer. The owners have got the balance right in terms of quality and value for money.
