Eeee Bye .... can tell tha's in Yorkshire
Greeted by the acrid hue of burning chip fat and barely able to view the menu through the smoke I identified the word 'Cheeseburger' and ordered.
The lady said 'would you like a bread roll with that?'
Puzzled I replied 'yes please'.
'That'll be 55 pence' she says!!
Just for clarity, I set out the definition of 'Cheeseburger' with the Oxford Dictionary:
cheeseburger
'noun a beefburger with a slice of cheese on it, served in a bread roll.'
