We visited On Shore for breakfast and it was absolutely delicious and the presentation was like something out of Masterchef!! However, one of the waiitresses was being given the runaround by some Irish ladies and she started to criticise them in front of us and other customers - not good I'm afraid :o(

We have lived in Cornwall for over 6 years now and eat out often in St Ives and the surrounding area. We don't go to St Ives in August but we had some friends down and decided to treat them to a meal at onshore as we had heard some good things about this place recently. We booked last minute and could only get a table outside but what a treat they had the heat lamps on and we saw seals in the harbour our friends were delighted. The food and service was excellent, Steve had the fillet steak which he reckons is the best meal he has ever had. I had the seafood risotto and our friends chose from the fish specials board and had the cod and the sole which again were delicious. I'd also recommend the desserts especially the chocolate and orange torte which looked and tasted amazing. A young lady called Ellen served us and made our evening really. She was attentive and efficient even though the restaurant was absolutely packed. We got chatting to the guys sat next to us and they also had a fantastic meal and said it was better than the seafood restaurant they had visited the night before. I'd recommend this place for everybody, there were families, couples and big parties all dining together and having a great time!

it can't really get much better than this place. best view in st ives over the harbour, unbelievable food and good range of wines at sensible prices. this place deserves to be in more eat out guides, possibly the best food we've had whilst in sunny Cornwall

With new owners and now a new chef ex The Blue Fish, this place gets better and better, we also hear that they are going to offer their delicious wood roasted pizzas for delivery, a first in St Ives, fab. We ate beautifully cooked Mackerel fillet salad and lovely pizza plus a lemon and tarragon chicken dish. Excellent all round, a bottle of rose and a stunning view, nuff said!
Onshore Restaurant
We have a holiday home in St Ives and so we are there alot. This restaurant is definitely our favourite in St Ives. We can take the whole family including my dad who is tres fussy. The pizzas suit us and the kids as they taste just like the ones we have in Italy. Dad loves the selection of fish and mum always goes for the healthy pasta option. The ambience is great at night and the wood burning oven in the open kitchen is fab too watch. I'd recommend any family to try this restaurant out - good value and very family orientated.
Onshore Restaurant
We always take our family and friends here. It's great value, stylish and still child friendly - our son loves the crispy duck pizza. Never disappointed we keep going back.
Onshore Restaurant
The pizzas at On Shore never disappoint and are very reasonably priced and so we go back again, and again and again. The puddings are pretty fantastic too. Get a table on the terrace or in the window and it's a hard restaurant to beat for the price.

On a day out to St Ives we had lunch. We chose a special deal which was a Pizza + drink for £8.95 together with a Pasta dish. It was superb, freshly cooked and very tasty. Because it was such a lovely day the views of the beach where all the people were sunbathing was an extra.
