Food nice, service not nice. We were a party of 3 who went early on a Friday night. The restaurant was about half full. We spent a lot of time chatting and catching up so went over our 'time limit' (which we weren't told about - there's a sign on the table which was moved by the waiter when he put our drinks down). The Manageress told us that we had gone over our time limit and when we said that a) we'd only had a couple of plates each because we were talking and b) it was not busy at all she just kept repeating that 'it was policy'. Would not recommend going there if you want to chat and eat, an if you just want to eat, there are better Chinese's to do it in.

DON'T DO IT ------If you are American, European or indeed hate waste or just can’t eat much you are in for a shock! I went there with work and I am a temp and I was thoroughly looking forward to taking some away I brought Tupperware in preparation and plus I have been caught up in the recession and on JSA so I cannot afford such luxuries as wasting food. I brought my own plastic plate because I never ever eat all my meals. I was hounded and they watched me always all because I asked very politely to put my plate in my OWN plastic plate. I even put some food on a napkin and the Gestapo watched me like the Police. I felt like a criminal just eating my own food I paid for and I only got ONE plate! I will never ever recommend this place to any of my American relatives. I paid £6.50 only to be treated like a wanted criminal. It was awful I really cannot describe the humiliation of eating with the Red Army. I was not impressed and will never every go again! I just want everyone to know and what to be prepared for!

Have dined here several times, pity it is the only Chinese in Stockport as they have a monopoly and know it!
Food is reasonable, price expensive, almost £11 on a Saturday. Closes at 9.30pm on a Saturday night (yes, really!) and they do not accept any copper as payment (illegal BTW). Staff are generally rude and demand payment up front (there are signs everywhere to remind us of this) and if you visit towards the end of the evening you get a lovely smell of bleach as the staff mop around you.
All in all a dreadful experience, but as I say, the only one of it's kind in Stockport so nothing will change here until competition arrives.
