Always top quality here. I am a big curry nut and Third Eye is easily the most consistently brilliant restaurant I've ever visited. The food is incredibly tasty and varied between dishes, none of the nondescript soupy slop that can sometimes be served in Rusholme. The service is always friendly and accommodating, and the price is almost laughably cheap (My wife and I regularly go there and eat for under £30 inc drinks). Only negatives are the size of the venue, which sometimes means you're squeezed around a table like a sardine, and the amount of time that you're given to eat your meal, as they like to turn the tables around quite frequently. However these are just compromises to keep the price down.
If you're a fan of food over all else, then third eye is the place to go to. Be adventurous with you're choices too.

Introduced to the Third Eye by our friends Rand and Carole.
My wife and I usually try the Makhan Chicken and a Chili Chicken, washed down with a couple of large bottles of Kathmandu beer. The two dishes work well together. The food has always tasted fresh and perfectly cooked. The service is excellent. When we first walked into the place I said that it had the wonderful aroma of the Rajdoot in Manchester. I then found that the original Chef had worked at the Rajdoot. As the Rajdoot was always my favourite restaurant for Makhan Chicken I then ordered the dish and was pleasantly surprised. As Didsbury is closer than the Central Manchester and parking is easier we now eat at the Original Third Eye
I have no connections with the establishment other than enjoying the food. Regards Brian from Sunny Macclesfield

As a member of a discerning curry club we visited this establishment at 8pm on a Thursday evening without a prior booking. We only just got in as the place was packed. We ordered mixed starters and 4 different main courses and the quality of the food was topnotch. The bill came to £78 for four of us including drinks. No side effects the next morning whatsoever. Would heartily recommend but advise to book early to avoid disappointment. 9 out of 10!

I am not a huge Indian food fan, but this place was so good. A wide range of dishes I?e never heard of before, all absolutely gorgeous and each one very different (unlike so many curries that seem to consist of the same brown curry sauce base). The best poppadoms I have ever eaten, great service, nice atmosphere, very friendly and attentive staff. And under £100 for 7 people! Really impressed, and I am a regular eater-outer.

The food was exellent and the guy serving us was very friendly and informative
Original Third Eye, The
Fantastic food and very reasonable prices. Quite a small place and very busy on a weekend so booking is essential. Feels a bit cramped but well worth it for the food.
