I wish to make a complaint About your liverpool otterspool. i have been staying with my daughter at Roby. And i took my cousin on my daughters recommendation . I was so embarrassed ,at the meal i didn't at the time want to complain in front of her. But i will know it was appalling one jacket because there was no mash. that was at twelve noon what happens after that time. Don't tell me no sausages. The size of the portions was minimum,if that. I was appalled. My cousin had said that the Brittania further down did a carvery. but i said no my daughter said it would be fine. How wrong . Fantastic food and very quick service love the new salad bar they have now to help yourself with any purchase of a a main meal....The breaded garlic mushrooms are a must for any starter to..The atmosphere in there is fantastic for all the family. This has to be my best restaurant by far if you haven't tried it you need to! :-D

Don't bother going. Service non-existent. Called in with 2 friends Wed afternoon about 3 p.m. Stood at bar waiting to order beer - you would have thought we were the invisible men as we were totally ignored by at least 3 members of staff - not even an 'I'll be with you in a minute gents.' from any of them. We left needless to say and went down to the Brewery Tap, Stanhope Street, to a warm welcome and a cool pint of real ale.

We keep coming back here to eat as it is such a lovely place. The food is delicious and piping hot and although it gets busy there is usually a place for everyone, and a lively but comfortable atmosphere.

This pub has a nice out doors play area for kids with slides and climbing frame as well as an indoor play area .the pub is well situated for nice views of the Mersey. make sure you ring before you arrive as it can get busy at tea time on Saturday and Sunday
