Stayed over here last Saturday night and the rooms are good value. It’s a big old Victorian villa set in its own grounds which at some point has been converted into a pub and hotel. We didn’t eat or drink here (other than a good breakfast) so can’t comment on the food or drink although apparently they have a good reputation for both. The upstairs rooms were clean, secure (which can be a concern in a pub) and certainly worth the £59 we paid at a weekend for a double on a bed and breakfast basis.
