Changed management at the end of August, this cosy friendly restaurant is a must for foodies! a great midweek deal 14.95 for 2 courses is a fantastic deal,we went on the strength of Trip adviser and have been a few times...always top quality especially the Lamb rump!

This little gem of a restaurant cannot be recommended highly enough! Recently changed owners but the quality of both food and service was superb. Fresh Scottish langoustines, beef medallions, even the ubiquitous sticky toffee pudding - all to die for! Chef Arran, was informative, enthusiastic, passionate about his food and it showed in both flavour and presentation. We left wanting to tell everyone how great it is!

What a superb restaurant , food was amazing and the staff and service was excellent. I would highly recommend this place. Small but very inviting and charming.

All though the food was good I wont be returning to Paul's Place because of the added supplements to each course we ordered.
Thinking back we should have questioned it I have since been advised I would have been within my fight to refuse to pay it.

First time visit to Pauls Place today. Exceptional quality food and cooking !! Will spread the word among my fellow gourmands !
For celebrations and regular visits this small attractive restaurant is a must for all who appreciate the real meaning of ' good food'.

If you want an excellent meal visit PAUL'S PLACE - we did 10 of us and we could not fault either the menu or the service, even the vegetarian amongst us The variety of dishes on the menu was more than enough to satisfy our tastes - starters, main meals, and desserts, Had never been before but will certainly be going back, nothing was too much for either Paul or his staff.
Thank you Paul for making our evening

Exceptional food - my wife and I have been to many of the best restaurants in Liverpool, but Paul's ids by far the best food - only a small place and basic decor, but the food is always exceptional - I really can't speak too highly of Paul and he deserves greater recognition - he out performs the so called named restaurants in Hope Street, and his clients know and appreciate this.

Used to be a big fan of this great little restaurant, but it seems to have lost its way a little. Not sure whats happening here, I hope they regain their drive that they used to have but when I dined there last week I found the food quite bland and a strangely dull atmosphere. Give it a try because hopefully, it will return to it's former glory, but for the time being I'm afraid I won't be in a rush to return. Sorry.

What a great little restaurant. Food is just fantastic and we only found it by chance, its tucked away on Aigburth Road close to the cricket club.
Great atmosphere, close to all amenities, very relaxed and food was best we have tasted, will be returning and telling our friends about it. Highly recommended.

I had never even heard of this place before last week and now i must have told 50 people about the wonderful food in there. Not only was the food well presented, but the produce i believe is sourced locally and the Chef seems to have a really good eye for quality. Perfect for people who really appreciate good food. I will certainly be back there this month.
