About Pennycomequick

Situated on The Moor in Falmouth, the Pennycomequick is a characterful Cornish pub that dates back to the 1700s. The distinctive name literally means ‘head of the creek’ and is the old Celtic name for Falmouth. The pub has a great atmosphere, a wide range of beers, wines and cocktails to choose from and a monthly changing menu crafted from the best local Cornish produce - with suppliers name-checked on their website. The pub has regular live music nights too and a quiz night every Thursday.

Thursday Pub Quiz starts 8.30pm. Bar snacks until 10pm. Prizes every week.

Had an extremely nice meal at your restaurant yesterday evening. There were 6 in our party and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, both mains and desserts. The service was excellent and the staff were very attentive, pleasant on quick. Thank you

Great Sunday lunch! Generous amount of beef and a tasty veggie option of artichoke and spinach filo pastry parcel. Lovely fresh greens cooked just right, delicious cauliflower cheese, the best around. It was £4.50 extra which added on to the main was a bit pricey but it was a big portion and came in it's own tin, lots of cheese and grilled on the top. Excellent service. Can't fault it, thank you.
