Family owned for more than 40 years, the Penventon Park Hotel in Redruth is a gorgeous Georgian mansion house converted to a unique hotel, restaurant and events venue. An ideal base for a short break or a celebratory stay in Cornwall, it's a fairytale wedding venue as well as a popular destination for functions, conferences and events of all kinds. Relaxed yet decadent, you can dine in style at the restaurant, pamper yourself in the health and leisure spa or just relax in the lounge with a glass of wine. Head Chef Keith Brookshank has 25 years experience under his belt and recently joined Penventon Park from Rick Stein's Seafood School where he was a senior lecturer. His menus are fine dining with a modern twist. Expect starters like Onion, Thyme and Cornish Cider Soup, mains such as their signature Pollo San Marco Flambe (finished in the dining room) and desserts that include a selection of crepes. Penventon Park also has different lunchtime offers available every day of the week.

If you like to be well treated and expect first class service, fabulous food, without being rushed, book a table here. Please don't all read this and book tonight because we haven't booked yet and want to go again. Small hint though, don't eat too much before you decide to go because you need to do all 3 courses, they're too fabulous too miss one out !!

We have been to the Penventon Park Hotel restaurant a few times now and every time we have been extremely pleased with the standard of food and the quality of the service and surroundings. It is like stepping back in time to a more elegant age but without any of the snobbishness of some top end establishments. The choice of menus is amazing with different menus from Italy, France, Britain, a specialist fish menu and joy upon joy a separate and extensive Vegetarian menu, though you have to ask for this. You will have trouble deciding. For something that extra bit special do try this superb restaurant, you really won't be disappointed !
