Pier Eight is The Lowry's restaurant and bar. With its stunning waterside setting, overlooking Salford Quays and the Manchester Ship Canal, it's the perfect venue for a delicious pre-show meal or dinner out. The stylish yet informal atmosphere is matched with friendly service and fresh, seasonal and contemporary British cooking from Executive Chef Oliver Thomas and his kitchen team. Pier Eight's seasonal dishes include Pan-fried scallop, pork belly & crackling, celeriac purée, smoked bacon, red wine sauce, lamb rump, rosti potato, caramelised cauliflower purée, spinach, cumin jus, and poached rhubarb, mascarpone & ginger panna cotta, honey tuile. There’s a lighter bar menu available during service times. At Pier Eight we can accommodate large groups and specialise in slick pre-theatre service.
