I used to go to Piero's a lot but it has slipped in recent years. They try very hard, it has a great atmosphere and the service is ok (not amazing like it used to be). The food however is no way near what it used to be. As an example I had a vegetable pizza that came cold with large chunks of vegetable and a lump of fenal on it, the next time I had a Lasagne that had fatty beef and for some strange reason ham in it. The desserts are now brought in instead of made and they seem to have become very tight with breads, wine and spirit measures. Still ok and good for lunch but there are now many other great pizzerias in Truro to eat at that are cheaper and have better service as well as good food.

I love the fact that you can watch the pizza chef making your pizza, always made to feel welcome, love the traditional style of inside the food is fantastic, just discovered they do take-away, even with pasta too
Piero's Ristorante & Pizzeria
A great little Italian restaurant. The food is fantastic and the waiters/waitresses are polite and helpful. There can be a reasonable wait for food when they are busy though and I'm disappointed that they do not appear to take advanced bookings for less than 10 people. Still well worth a visit though.
Piero's Ristorante & Pizzeria
This must be the best Italian in Truro, we had lunch on a tuesday and the place was packed and buzzy, the waiters, who all must be related were shouting orders at each other and laughing and joking, we ate pasta and pizza, both were exeptional and very authentic. Although its not cheap its a really good experience and well worth it.
