I used to eat here regularly when Mike and Doreen ran the place. Well the new management/chef certainly know how to destroy a pub's good food reputation. Possibly the worst Sunday lunch I've had around here. Cardboard and burnt yorkshire pud under the guise of roast beef, and for medium rare lamb chops expect uncooked fat and tough meat. Veggies tasteless. I could go on but perhaps it would more polite not to. We were grudgingly refunded for the beef after the comment "Well you ate some of it!" Oh how the mighty have fallen!
I'll watch the future reviews and keep hoping that things improve but I won't hold my breath.

We enjoyed a very nice lunch at the Plough at Eaves last week. It was very busy which is always a good sign. We are going back for dinner soon!

Wonderful first class food, only open on certain days, but its well worth a visit, even if you only wish a drink, the food is cooked to perfection, served to perfection, and is perfection in every sense. it's been said its a bugger to find, but off GARSTANGS A6 near Broughton its easy, any other direction and yes its a bugger to find. The plough for me is that oldy world pub that one as sort to find for years, well do yourself a favour, book a meal and see for your self, you won't be disappointed .

Every credit to this place that despite practically no passing traffic – as someone says in another review, it’s a bugger to find – it’s still going strong. We walked up the Lancaster Canal from Catforth on Sunday and dropped in for a late lunch. It’s got the feel of a country pub you would expect to find in a remote part of the Lakes and for me the Plough at Eaves really comes into its own in high summer or deepest, darkest winter. The landlord has been there for a while now, I think, so every credit for keeping things ticking over in such tough times. You have to make an effort to come here and people do. Also noticed a farm shop has opened nearby so you can now combine a visit to the Plough with buying some decent meat and fresh produce.

We chose a quiet night as it can get busy at weekends. Cannot complain about the food, price or service. Enjoy the beer as it is well served in this establishment.
A place you could comfortably stay for the whole evening.

Though it was a bugger to find we really enjoyed our trip to the Plough. After seeing it on Sugarvine we drove there on saturday night. The place has real rustic charm in a very quiet corner of the fylde coast. We had great big plates of pub grub. Fish and chips and a mince and onion pie with chips. Hearty and unpretentious washed down with good beer. We had a nice seat out front as the sun set afterwards. Unbelievably only spent about £25 in total.!

On the whole the meals were good and well presented. All this in very pleasant surroundings.
The evening we were there, maybe because they were busy,we found the service a little bit lacking.
Perhaps also where the meals were concerned and for the price of the meat dishes another bowl of vegetables would not have gone amiss. Only one was given for three meals
Generally though far better than your average

The Plough at Eaves is a lovely picturesque pub/ restaurant. The food was outstanding and although reasonably busy there was no delays on the food. Service was with a smile which always helps. Overall one of the better restaurants i have been to
Plough At Eaves, The
Excellent Food, very reasonably priced, recommend booking for restaurant on Friday and Saturday, small intimate restauarant, tablecloths and cotton napkins, excellent sweet menu. Lovely setting - wine list limited but excellent prices. Thoroughly recommended.
