Excellent meal as usual at Portofinos. My mother and I both had beef Stroganoff and my son a very tasty ham pizza. All dishes very tasty. Service was good.

Absolutely fabulous meal! The Minestrone soup was gorgeous, best I've had. Love the linen on the tables. Will be returning!

Fantastic meal and food, only let down by slow service on Saturday night just gone.

We chose Portofino for a business lunch and we were glad we did. The booth seating is perfect for that type of lunch where more space is required. We started with some olives and freshly sliced Serrano ham. Followed by various selection from the 'Winter Warmer' menu. My fish cakes and Pollo Milanese were excellent and my fellow diners seemed as satisfied with theirs. Would recommend and return!

We went here last night for Valentine's Day. We were seated in a quiet room upstairs. It was very busy in the restaurant but service was very good and we had the set menu. The food was superb , we had a sharing platter to start of antipasto. My partner had rib eye steak and I the sea bass. The dessert was a sharing dish of strawberrys and chocolate. The house wine was reasonably priced.
We will definitely return here again.

First time here downstairs at Portofino since their recent mini-makeover and it’s looking good. My colleague had recommended the chicken livers as the best around so I started with that followed by some surf and turf combination. Food was good and for such a successful and well-established business it’s nice to see the boss Orlando still heavily involved and not just taking a back seat.

Our party of 16 were extremely well catered for at Portofino last friday. We were upstairs in an alcove of our own. Food was very good as was the service from our team of secret service operatives (all had ear pieces I assume linked them to the kitchen-very misson impossible!). This is the 3rd year we have booked and will do again.

Four of us had a two course lunch on 2nd September. We had Chicken Kiev which was excellent but there was only one choice of sweet which was Pear tarte which was reasonable but when it came to the bill the drinks were too dear, £3.25 for a tomato juice and £4+ for 1/2 pint of shandy. Shall eat there again but without the drinks.

The food was excellent, but this was let down by the utterly dreadful service.

On a recommnedation from Sugarvine, 8 of us from Manchester dined upstairs at Portofino on Saturday the 21st of June. We all loved it. Thanks to all.
