Went for a Sunday evening meal. Disappointed to be told on arrival that they had no pizza(in an Italian restaurant) when we ordered there was no flatbreads and the no crab cakes. The food we ordered was of good quality and well cooked. Staff were very friendly.

Visited today at lunchtime. The place was empty when we arrived. However it took a while to get our starter, and forever to get our main course. Other people were served before us despite arriving after us. It seemed like one chef and one waiter were running things. In the end it took nearly 2 hours to finish our meal. Which was nice to be honest. when we went to pay we were given the kids meals free due to the wait. Won't be going back though.

Was looking forward to visiting but have been put off about the staff needing more training. .......surely ths staff are supposed to sell their establishment!

I do like Prezzo. I have been in a few times for lunch and love the spaghetti Bolognese. I always avail of the lunchtime deal which at £9.95 is great value.

My review for Prezzo restaurant St Annes. Pro's; Child friendly, fresh and new, spacious, good location in the square, two cool circular banquet seating tables, food was very pleasant. Con's; Service was hit and miss, Though brand new the place is a bit dreary and lacks ambience. We were also amused by the 80's Buck Rogers style central chandelier. With the buying power of Prezzo you would of thought the place would have had some wow-factor.

Been there twice ao far and the staff do need bwtter training (like reaching across you instead of serving from the side), saying that they are very pleasant. The food though is smashing and I prefer it to Tiggy's and its very good value.
Not Happy
Not a good first impression . The staff are very young and just stood around talking. You actually have to get up and go over to them to get served. I had grilled chicken which i had to send back as it was raw. They better shape up or won't last long in St Annes.

My first thoughts when Prezzo opened were "Does St.Annes really need another Italian restaurant", but after visiting on Saturday, I am glad they have. The menu was interesting with lighter options which was basically a smaller bowl of pasta or pizza with a side salad and low fat dressing. The food was delicious and I even had a pudding which is unusual for me. Will defo visit again.
