I recently attended a function here and it was like going back into the 1930`s.
It was quite a pleasant meal, and competantly prepared , but not exactly with the skills of Silver Service as expected. It must be difficult to maintain an ageing institution such as this, and sadly its age is the one thing that hits you between the eyes. Do watch out for the car parking charges though. The joke of the evening was the car park fee ON LEAVING....... I now feel confident that I must have purchased shares in the car park!!!!
