About Pulcinella

The innovative fusion menu matches the modern, understated look at this classy Cleveleys Italian. Fish is a big specialty (check the blackboard) and you can enjoy a good-value set menu on weekday nights. They put on very popular live music nights from time to time too. The menu features quality ingredients sourced directly from Italy alongside the best locally sourced seasonally available produce. Expect classics like seafood stew and Ossobuco - braised on the bone veal cooked in wine. Pulcinella has a relaxed atmosphere with the warmth and ambience of a busy local restaurant. Choose from the a la carte menu or for more relaxed dining try the Prezzo Fisso options. There is also a takeaway menu, Pulcinella To Go. Open from 6pm, Tuesday to Sunday.

Always a winner. Great Italian grub!

We have all been here on countless occasions with our families. We enjoy it so much, we go every 2 weeks.The service is excellent and the atmosphere terrific and I am sure the food improves each time we visit. Even when visiting Italy, we did not find a restaurant as good and the prices are reasonable.

We have eaten here 3 times over the last 6 years and on 2 occasions have found black hair in our food. This is a shame as the restaurant itself is very nice and the staff are friendly. The food itself is ok. My husband ordered a meat pizza which we were unsure if there was any meat on it the mushy red stuff looked more like tomatoes. I found a black hair in the calamari batter. Staff were very apologetic and gave us that course for free. We are unlikely to go back as the hairs in food has put us off.

It's been a good few years since i've dined here and after last night (11/05/12) it's going to be another good few years. So where do i start? 1, Seating, we were to cramped as my friend just kept getting knocked and that was mainly by the waiting on staff.2, Waitress brought my friend her drink and leans over my food to place on the table instead of walking a couple of feet to my friends side of the table. Then the next one that served us had a mouth full of food. So RUDE!!3. Garlic Bread lovely.4. Starters Chicken Wings, Tart

eaten here a few times over the years and while not my favourite restaurant, I always leave feeling satiated and well looked after.... my last meal of squid and courgette in olive oil and garlic served mixed into a huge bowl of spaghetti was divine on the palate and filling in the belly.... a great choice of dishes and a fun and friendly atmosphere, always a pleasure to dine here.

I went here On Wednesday night for dinner & everything was excellent, from the champagne to the food, to the Service & the decor. We were made to feel very welcome and relaxed. Possibly the best Italian restaurant that I've eaten inn, Thanks

I would never recommend this restaurant, after eating on Saturday 3rd April,. It would take to long to explain, but the service, food and attitude was disgusting. I would be very happy to give a full history of our awful experience.

I think this is probably the best Italian restaurant on the fylde coast at the moment. The ambience is spot on with mood lighting and chilled tunes and the food that cut above the competition.

If you are looking to enjoy Pulcinella's Tapas menu you should phone and make sure they have the food/dishes available to host such an event before you plan your evening at this venue. My husband and I were really looking forward to going to Pulcinellas to sample their tapas menu which, according to their website, commenced in January 2010 until February 2010. When we arrived we were offered no such menu. When we finally managed to catch someones eye to ask about the offer we were told that due to the bad weather the food had not arrived, then we were told it wouldn't be available on a Friday or Saturday night anyway. Nowhere on the website did it exclude these days. When another manager came over to see us we were then told the dishes for the tapas had not arrived. We were offered some sort of an apology but as we had such a long wait for our food to arrive it was of no consolation to us. The restaurant itself was very busy so we understand it can take some time for fresh food to be prepared but we felt we received no service and it seemed as we were not regular customers then our complaint was not taken seriously. Very disappointed and will not be making another visit.
