Myself and my daughter visited this cafe in May. I had a Jacket potato and my daughter a panini. the total cost was just under £20. Rather expensive for what you got, My complaint is that there was no variation on the standard beans and cheese for the jacket. I wanted Cheese and coleslaw. I was told I had to pay for extra items if I wanted something not specified on the menu. The standard of the food has fallen since my last visit and the portion sizes have also shrunk. I got about a tablespoon (one small ramekin dish) of cheese with my jacket for which I was charged over £1.50.The salad was mainly lettuce and carrot. I have 3 pieces of corn and one minute cherry tomato. and 2/3 small pieces of cucumberI have emailed Raffles Coffee house twice in May and have not had a reply. The month later I hand delivered a letter which had my emails with it at the end of June and I still have not had a reply. Raffles Coffee House, money is hard to earn, your prices are over expensive for what you get. You ask for feedback on your site, for what reason, just to ignore it???? For an establishment not to be able to have the courtesy to reply to a complaint you are not worth another visit and I rather think that word of mouth by social media is the way forward.Totally dissatisfied and disgusted that you are not able to reply!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We visited Raffles this afternoon in Preston 24/11/13 we ordered our food which came to the neck end of £28 for 3 sandwiches and 2 drinks slightly expensive I think but that is not my complaint with this place, my girlfriend had a Tuna and mayo wrap which came in 2 halves , she couldn't finish both halves so decided to take the other half home with her, we asked the waitress if we could she said no problem and promptly returned with paper bag to put an open fairly sloppy wrap in I then asked if this could be wrapped in tin foil and then put in a paper bag the wrap was taken away sent down to the kitchen to be dealt with however it returned unwrapped and back in a paper bag I mentioned to the ladie on the counter about the tin foil to which she replied they didn't keep it on the premises I took the Wrap out of the bag which then fell apart mostly over me at that point I knew I wasting my time I then told them to throw it away i had just gone past trying to get this thing hygienically wrapped up. I know it sounds trivial but principal had taken over by now I left the place seething and put a complaint in to the service area in st George's I don't hold my hopes up for a reply but you never know it's nearly Christmas !!!
