Genuinely one of the best curry houses in Leeds. A small restaurant with friendly service, however it is the quality and taste that stands out more than anywhere else. As part of a large extended family (who know their curry!) we have all been going to Raies for years, simply because we cannot find better, and definitely not at these prices. You have to try it out if you take your curry seriously, or you even just want good value. Superb.

Not a great night out but alright. Service slow and we didn't all we had ordered. Complaint to Manager got aggressive response but we did eventually get food. Sort of 'pile em high and sell em cheap' which is ok if that's what you want.

A satisfactory evening. Food cold-ish but cheap. Curry took a long time to come but we did get extra poppadams when we complained. Did gve us chips too albeit a bit reluctantly!

Lots of different curries. My wife, cousin and I tried three between us and all were simply too hot. A chicken rogan shouldn't have lots of chillies should it?! No Kingfisher beer.

A bad experience I'm afraid. Food was a bit cold and over-spiced. Nan bread was flat and a bit wet. Maybe we got them on a bad day.

A few of us from The Yorkshire Post popped in here for a curry last week. Food was acceptable but service a bit slow. Good atmos. though. Menu was reasonable but we thought it was a bit pricey given the grub.

Extremely good food, by far the best dishes I’ve ever tasted. Its is outstanding and i would recommend everybody to try the food here. I order very frequently here know and the waiter mainly Shammy are brilliant. The owner Max is a delightful person with a great sense of humour and makes anybody laugh! Great food and great place! Best in Leeds by far!

OK food with reasonable service. Good chips! Food a bit basic but for the price charged it was ok. Manager was a bit OTT.
