In our first visit to London we were delighted to have the opportunity to visit Romano's Restaurant in Kensington. Our first course featured Mediterranean grilled sardines which were grilled to perfection and served hot off the grill. Lightly salted and oiled with fine virgin lemon oil - I quickly knew that we were in the right part of town. Our dining experience improved even more when the second course was served. My wife ordered the mushroom risotto served with Romano's own hand picked truffles brought over from Bore, Italy. I ordered the swordfish with tomato sauce that brought an enjoyable evening to an end. We were so full that we passed on dessert - vowing to come back another time to test the deserts when we had more room. We would recommend this great restaurant to anyone who lives to EAT GREAT FOOD.
