Since its refurbishment, The Royal Hotel in Heysham is a very nice place to visit for a meal and/or drink. The building has retained its character and has some comfortable and relaxing environments with an outdoor area which has heaters for when the chill sets in.
The prices can be a little higher than normal for this type of pub, but for The Royal it is worth it for the comfort and relaxation we get as well as the standards of service generally.
We have been in numerous occasions and overall it has been very good so we always look forward to our visits here.
