About Royal Oak
The Royal Oak has been at the heart of the community in Mellor since 1790 and welcomes everyone from dogs and kids to football fans. Newly refurbished in October 2016, it makes the perfect country pub and is the focal point of the village with many surrounding walks. The pub has a huge beer garden and is the ideal venue for a celebration or function, with catering optional. Food is served from 4pm-8pm Thursdays and Fridays and from noon onwards at weekends and as well as the Bar Menu with a small selection of pub classics there are starters, nibbles, snacks and desserts as well as a kids menu. There are Specials too which change most weeks or you can try the signature Royal Oak Steak Burger, loaded with bacon and stilton. Alternatively, you can enjoy a pint of Robinsons cask ale by the fire or for sport fans, the Royal Oak has Sky Sports and BT Sport.
