AMAZING restaurant, this is one of mine and my boyfriend's favourite restaurants, its just round the corner from where I live and we have never experienced anything short of excellent food and service from here. On our last visit, we got 2 poppadoms each, 2 starters to share with a naan bread, 2 main courses and a paratha and the bill only came to £33, that's less than £20 per person!! I ask for something that isn't on the menu but they always make it for me which I think is lovely. All in all a fantastic restaurant!! Will be going again very soon!!

Our meal took 1 hour and 30 minutes to arrive. The restaurant wouldn't even give us a free poppadom, despite being a party of 26. The food was OK, but a little bland. The "garlic bread" appeared to have no garlic and certainly we couldn't smell any. The waiter actually stood there arguing with us rather than replace it, The service overall was offhand and they seemed to have no interest at all in our satisfaction. Never going there again.

The best Indian Restaurant in the North West possibly the UK. The hot chili sauce for the poppadoms is simply amazing along with the onion bahji and lemon/mint sauce. My all time favourite dish has got to be the Hot Buttered Chicken, mouth watering. I have been coming to The Royal Tandoori for 20 years and I have never found better!

Simply the best, better than all the rest, and anyone I have ever known. I am stuck on your food..!! Simply The Best.

The Royal is the best Indian restaurant in Liverpool,I have been going to the royal for the past 12yrs with my husband, brothers, sisters and friends,The Hot Butter chicken is the best meal by far,the onion bahjis are gorgeous too, I would recommend this Indian to everyone who loves curry!

Me and my hubby have been here quite a few times as it's really local to us. Food is gorgeous, nice decor with glass chandeliers. We went to the supposed best Indian in Liverpool last year and were not impressed, the Royal is way better.

This is the best place in the universe to eat! THE END... THE BEST!!! I've been a regular since I was 18 and I'm now 26 and love it even more! Chicken makhanwala and especially my favourite dish ever made from here a Chicken Tikka Madras with Keema Pilaw Rice! Try it with a kashmiri Naan and pint of Cobra Beer and try not too fall asleep with heavenly fullness! It is simply Incredible and I think I love it and them!

This is the best Indian restaurant in liverpool bar none! Everything on the menu is fantastic, i have never eaten anything i didnt enjoy in here. It is great value for money... you cant argue with students. The staff are very friendly and always attentive, even when the restaurant is packed. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you love Indian food, you will love it!!

I have been to many Indian restaurants in Liverpool and the royal is by far the best. The curries are amazing especially the jalfrezi. The staff are very friendly and easy to get along with and the price is amazingly cheap compare to other restaurants as the quality of food is the best i have had in the city. If you?e looking to go to a curry house, look no further than the Royal!!!

Without doubt the best Indian food in Liverpool !!!! The Hot Buttered Chicken is legendary !!!! ......Unbeatable!!!! The staff are friendly and always remember you when you go back. My brother, three sisters, my wife (even my kids) and all of my friends love the food. Words alone are not enough ..... you have to visit.
