Rustica in Sunderland is a cosy and authentic Italian restaurant and inn with ensuite rooms. It’s situated on Washington Road, just a stone’s throw from the city centre, and has a rich history as a former WW! RAF office. These days it mixes a contemporary British-style inn with a traditional Italian tavern. Choose between a la carte, early bird until 6pm, the Il Piccolo kids menu and a special Sunday Roast – all accompanied by Italian wines and a selection of cocktails expertly crafted by the Rustica mixologists. Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
