I have eaten at San Carlo on a number of occasions first time was for my first wedding anniversary in the years that have passed me and my wife have eaten at other restaurants but still come back to San Carlo and don't just wait for our Anniversary as we enjoy the atmosphere and food so much. San Carlo is an excellent dining experience! There have been a few local celebrities as well at San Carlo’s, footballers especially like the place, which adds to the excitement. The menu has a lot of variety and is not overpriced, so you always get value for money with quality food. A very reliable, high quality restaurant.

Ate at San Carlo again at the weekend and thought to myself as a regular Sugarvine user that I must come on here to write a recommendation for it! My partner and I regularly go to restaurants in town and San Carlo is the restaurant we revisit the most. The service, food and wine are, as always, absolutely excellent. The effort put in to creating the dishes is visible when the food is put in front of you. All meals are presented delightfully, something that I as a diner appreciates and San Carlo as restaurateurs clearly recognise the value of. We’re always quite adventurous with the wine list and again must compliment San Carlo for a diligent selection of wines. So, I hope this is a shining endorsement for those who are yet to be acquainted with San Carlo, I truly can’t recommend it enough.

The service is always brilliant, the restaurant is immaculately presented and very clean and the food is delicious. I love eating at San Carlo. My boyfriend takes me for special occasions, and it's just so special. The restaurant is in a great location - just off New Street, and next to Louis Vuitton - which means it's always packed with beautiful people. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome - from the welcome at the door, the arm around your shoulders as you walk up the stairs, the extravagant air kisses, and the pleasant service - nothing is missed by the staff at San Carlo to ensure you have a fabulous evening. The food is always amazing - I love the pasta and chicken dishes that they do. The food always comes out so quickly as well, and it tastes magnificent. I can't recommend San Carlo enough - make sure you go next time you're in the area.

I love eating at San Carlo - the staff always make you feel so welcome, and the food is delicious. Their special board always has different dishes on it - which is nice, as I seem to eat there often - and they never fail to disappoint. I recommend their fish dishes - they're always fresh and taste really great.

Great food, great service, great restaurant! San Carlo really does get 10/10 for every aspect of dining out. The atmosphere is friendly, as a restaurant should be, and is very noisy. Perhaps too noisy for some, however there were several Christmas parties going on, so perhaps it's not always that loud. I loved the choice of food available on the menu - it really was an impressive collection of authentic Italian dishes, with something for everyone, even those not really into their true Italian food. Highly recommended - and try the monk fish, it was beautiful!

My boyfriend took me out to San Carlo's a couple of weeks back for our anniversary. We both had a lovely evening and they gave us a good table away from the crowds. The food was great and the staff were really good in helping us choose the perfect wine to accompany our meal .The whole evening was really romantic and we were surprised at the reasonable price of the bill. Will definitely be eating there again!
