Brilliant restaurant known Nino for34 years when he first came to Doncaster.I worked for a very big company and we celebrated everything at Ninos. He knew my late son very well they first meet when my son was 10 he would have been 44 this march.

I took my husband for his 60th birthday and once there the rest of the family jumped out and surprised him. We had a good night. The food was very good and then they brought wigs, hats and instruments out and we all had a good laugh.
Doncaster Gal
Having been a customer of San Remo for many years I can only say what has happened. The food was extremely poor Spare Ribs a long time favourite of mine were 4 bones in sauce (no meat on whatsoever). The steak was absolutely awful were told we had to have Sirloin well done as it is marinated! Not sure on that one but can only assume the meat is bought pre cooked and they have to crucify it to warm it up, it tasted very artificial and in no way resembled a Sirloin Steak. Extremely disappointed and will not be returning.
Me
San remo has been in Doncaster for a number of years. Nino the owner is very passionate and successful in what he does best "entertaining". Pleasant atmosphere, good fresh food, nothing too much trouble and always on hand. Can recommend the Funghi fritti as a starter or even the fresh home cooked soup. All the dishes are superb and unique in there own way and offer something different for all tastes. Try and experience the flavour of Italy.
