myself and my wife paid a visit last night (20-9-2008) to celebrate her birthday.
the staff and the place are well worth a visit if you like good proper British food because that is what you get and my god it is well worth the wait.
we started with a starter mine was chicken curry and the wife had Atlantic prawn cocktail.
then we had soup mine was farmhouse vegetable the wifes was chicken and leek.
main course. mine was 10oz rib eye steak with all the trimmings
my wifes was a double barnsley chop with all the trimmings.
sweet course. i had chocolate and orange cheesecake the wifes was sherry trifle .
