I visited this restaurant on the 19th February for an evening meal with my sister and brother. The food was absolutely wonderful, couldn't fault it! However the service was TERRIBLE. We asked for a jug of tap water, it didn't come until the end main course, after asking for it twice. We had to ask for the sweet menu, which again was ages coming. When ordering our sweet we ordered 2 coffees - we waited a long time, but they never did come !! So we paid the bill and went. I did not leave a tip due to the appalling service, but was shocked to see after we had paid that there was a 10 Service charge. If I had realised this I would have knocked it off the bill. So be warned.

Twice I've walked out . Not even got to try food I can't get past the woefully poor service . It appears they didn't want me to eat , just me bad review . Both times on a Monday , not apparently busy but ignored at the bar on both occasions . Surely that's just service basics , they need to pull themselves together

disappointing, booked a table for half past seven and was not seated until gone eight. service was slow not well looked after , food was fine but not worth the waiting time to be seated. pudding took over thirty minutes to arrive for a slice of lemon tart and cheese cake which i was unhappy with, staff did not seem bothered. optional service charge on the bill! overall a disappointing evening as had such high hopes as have heard nothing but high praise sadly not my opinion
