We had a fabulous meal and laughed such a lot, it was a pleasure!
Sushi as good as when I last had it in the Caribbean -very fresh and cooked to perfection with theatre thrown in!
Thank you

Visited this restaurant on Saturday 11th December, booking was for 9.30pm we received our first course at 10.50pm, after complaining to the Manager no action was taken whatsoever.
The Manager totally dismissed there was a problem, he then sent a member of staff over to offer us a complimentary bottle of wine, 1 bottle for a party of 7 people. (how insulting). After completing our meal (which I must point wasn't nothing exciting) at midnight, we then received our bill to find we had been charged for the bottle of wine.
No apologies were given and the service was very very poor and the food was nothing exciting either. The most helpful people were the young lads waiting on

Visited Sapporo Teppanyaki in Liverpool last night for the first time...it was amazing!
From the moment that you walked in the door the staff were so friendly and made you feel really welcome. The restaurant itself is open plan, with a unique table layout; each one featuring it's very own cooking station and highly entertaining and extremely skilled chef. For starters, we sampled the hot chilli prawns and tempura vegetables (both of which were fabulous). Mains were cooked in front of us on the "Teppanaki plate" - egg fried rice, sauteed potatoes and vegetables with your choice of meat. We had Duck Breast Teriyaki and Garlic Beef Fillet. For the vegetarian amongst us it was the Oko-Nomi Yaki (thats a Japanese Savoury Pancake!). Simply delicious! The dishes are cooked on the central cooking stations and the chefs put on a great display and are very entertaining.
I have a restricted diet and cannot eat and dairy/lactose products. I advised staff before going and they could not have been more accommodating. My dish was cooked separately in the kitchen area to avoid any "contamination" - all of the staff were more than happy to assist, making me feel as though I was being no trouble to them.
All of this was finished off with a "Long Island Iced Tea" (mixed with Sake) in the relaxed bar area.
This restaurant comes highly recommended from us and a must if visiting Liverpool.

I LOVE SAPPORO. I JUST LOVE IT. the prices are so worth while and the entertainment is outstanding just what Liverpool needs. and by the way some people shouldn't eat out because they moan go back to "maccys" if you want because some comments are out of order.
