We came on April the 6th for my neice's 21st well what can one say there was 16 in our party the food was below standard the meat was tough and most of the food was cold there weren't, enough staff to cope and we had two disabled people in our party the toilets were upstairs

I have eaten here several times before the theatre but tonight I was able to take my time and really appreciate the excellent preparation and presentation of the food at this restaurant. Service, as always, was impeccable.

I went to the restaurant for a fabulous meal and great hospitality, the only downside being they do not accept any other payment but cash so you need to be equipped for that but that did not stop us!! Really enjoyable and great food!!

we visited this place tonight, my god i wish we hadn't, it was awful, the place smelled of damp when u walked in! The food well what can i say, frozen veg, chips supposed be homemade i very much doubt it! Drinks, no draught beer just bottles, not a great array of choice of anything else. Toilets had seen better days too!! Sorry but we wont be going back, what a disappointment after reading other reviews....

My friend and I have visited this restaurant twice in the last month and we can honestly say that the seafood was the best we have ever tasted! Excellent food and very friendly staff! We have recommended it to all our friends.

do not believe any of the comments you read in these reviews. we were in the restaurant on 29 may 2011 and along with other diners had a terrible experience. long wait, untrained staff, raw fish and no card machine. we read the reviews and had high expectations but left extremely disappointed. this seemed to be a common problem for all other tables around us. advice would be go to south pier, £1.99 fish and chips
