service was very poor. Very young waiters who didn't know what the food was, didn't get the food order correct and didn't even get a drinks order correct. Service was very slow. When the food did arrive the quality was shocking also most of it was either under cooked or not even cooked in the case of the chicken kebab. You would actually find better food out of a bin. Another party complained about their food not being cooked and also bread was full of mold. We have been many times in the past and it was a lovely place to go, so not sure if it has changed hands during 2012. I think it needs to change hands again.

13 friends and I visited New Seasons on Saturday night and requested a room upstairs so we could all sit together. The room was lovely and it was great to have a private room. We're all in our thirties and don't consider ourselves particularly 'snobbish' but I can't help but feel that New Seasons fails almost every time on service.
After an extremely young (16 years old?) waiter took our order (some cocktails, some beer), we waited 10 minutes only to be told by another waiter that cocktails were not served during restaurant hours so we must choose something else. He hurried off and left us with the younger waiter who unfortunately was grilled as to when the cocktails are served (he didn't know), who by ("a man comes in and does them") and that was that.
So, another 10 minutes passes before anybody gets a drink. We asked him for food menus and waited another 5 minutes. He produced 2 menus, for a table of 14 people. We asked for more, he said that all he had at the moment. We had to chase drinks numerous times, ask about 4 times for music to be turned on, and again for more menus.
Then came the food. I cannot fault my meal in any way. It was delicious! I cannot fault it for quality. I had the shish taouk to start (lovely!) and the fillet steak stroganoff with rice (Very tasty) but I do know that others waited up to 8 minutes for the accompanying rice and again had to chase it a few times.
The restaurant surprised me with a lovely dessert and candles and all sang happy birthday which is a lovely touch. I just wish the rest of the service was as thoughtful and considerate. One member of our party had finished her dish before it's accompanying rice arrived.
We will of course return to New Seasons as it is lovely food and surroundings. I'd just love them to improve on the competency of the waiting staff.

Just been to New Season Tapas Bar & Bistro for the second time. The food was amazing and service excellent. Bruno the waiter who looked after us was very pleasant and friendly, so were the rest of the staff. Can't wait to go again! The ambience is very relaxing. A lovely night.

Went with a groupon voucher and ordered our 7 tapas between 2 of us The Portuguese waiter was a little stern at first. We thought it was because we had purchased a groupon deal. We paid the extra for 4 of us and felt as if it wasn't correct after checking. 3 out of 4 of us had bad stomachs the day after therefore very disappointed with the cleanliness of this place. Don`t feel as if we could go back. Sorry !!

Wow what a let down! Sorry but I had read all the reviews and genuinely visited with high hopes. Perhaps I am too fussy but the quality of the food and drink fell way way short of my expectations. I have never posted an adverse review before but here goes!!!
Didn't get off to a great start as having read the blurb about a QE2 mixologist in charge of cocktails I thought let's go for it but the bellinis were just a glass of cheap champagne with cordial added at £6 a pop.
I ordered a Paella which when it came was a dollop of soggy rice and seafood and didn't taste freshly cooked and a chicken tagine was nothing more than a chicken breast fillet that had been boiled in a tin of chopped tomato with a few bits added,
.
Notwithstanding the dissapointment with the food and drink by far the worst part was the reaction when I politely and discreetly tried to express my dissatisfaction. The waitress, who actually was very pleasant but obviously embarassed, seemed to understand my grievance and attempted to appease me by offering alcohol as compensation.
When I explained that getting my money back, or getting drunk, wasn't the critical issue and asked to have a quiet word with a manager/proprietor/chef who I thought might have had some concerns with untouched food being returned She clearly indicated they werent really bothered and gave me an e-mail address instead.
Sad to say I left with an empty soul and an empty stomach but thought fit to post here. I know many people love this plale and maybe I just had a bad experience but its nice to have a balanced view.

I went to seasons last weekend, the service was excellent as usual, and the food was fantastic. There was a good choice of vegetarian options on request, and the staff made an exotic cocktail and non alcoholic cocktail.
Was also a nice surprise when we got the bill, excellent value!

We went to New Season again this week and, as always, had a great time. The food is always of a high standard with lots of choice, the tapas menu is our particular favourite. There is also a good selection of wines and cocktails and the staff are always friendly, helpful and take good care of you.
Recommended.

Went for dinner last night with my husband and it was as always superb, the staff are so friendly and the menu is great sooooo much choice we both opted for food off the specials menu and was not disappointed my husband ordered Arabic Grill and i opted for the surf and surf fillet steak was one of the most delicious meals we have eaten in a long long time. It isn't the cheapest but you pay for quality and is definitely worth every penny.
