Food is ok (although no matter what type of curry you get they all seem to taste the same) and it's one of the cheapest restaurants I've ever been to (£78 for 13 of us!!!) but the service is horrendous. I've actually been back four or five times with friends purely to show them how bad it is - waiters literally throw plates of food onto the table, scowl at you at all times and seem to find it extraordinarily inconvenient that anyone would want to order food. A truly odd dining experience!

Five Spices

Now called 7 Spices. The welcome on arrival is excellent as is the food. I first went when it was the original 5 Spices and have been going on a regular basis ever since. Highly recommended.
