I have to say after hearing rave reviews about yourselves.Me and my wife were looking forward to.our meal out at ShagorikaHowever being a gy married couple proved difficult at this restaurant. I saw staff ask all other customers how their food was etc. We didn't getasked once, the food was plonked down In front of us and we were being staredat by staff looking at us in disgust. As people were leaving staff openeddoor shook hands etc what did we get no open door simply a "bye" .How to makepeople feel unwelcome eh? I am taking this story to local Echo and willtarnish this reputation on Facebook for all my curry lover friends. We havenever felt so uncomfortable ever, will be sticking to Ocean Road from nowone I have to say.

I adore this place , whether its busy or not.!!!!!! it is immaculate the service is courteous, and prompt. The waiters never get flustered even on the busy nights. When i go to a restaurant on a Saturday night i really don't expect FAST FOOD service. SHAME on those of you that do.

we've been coming here since it opened nearly 30 years ago, and i can honestly say the food was and still is excellent and very good value for money.

hi, i absoloutely disagree with edward, i ate in the shagorika and i felt i was back home in india, the waitors could not be any nicer, than they usually are, i agree that when its a full house usually on a Saturday and a thursday night, it does take longer for you to be sered but not so long, that you wak out and never return, the food is utterly irresistible and delicious, i enjoy meals there every Monday, Thursday and saturday night, with family and close friends, i always return home with a mouthwatering taste.I absolutely adore the restaurant and i also recommend others to share this experience with me.

hi, the shagorika is owned by my dad, and i just wanted to say that this place is obviously well known and well afforable, its got a range of delicious cuisines to offer and a group full of kind, gentle and hard working employess, this restaurant is something special, its one of the best on the seafront, in decoration wise and quality wise.

The restaurant itself is lovely decorated, not noisy or too big, situated on the seafront. The food is, in mine and my family's view, delicious and we have infact returned a number of times. The waiters are generally good although when busy it takes slightly longer to get served than usual but not to a degree that it would bother you. Overall, a lovely restaurant with nice food and modestly priced

An all in all average Indian restaurant, food was decent enough yet had nothing to make you want to be sure of a return visit.
