The last time (about 3 months ago i visited this place on a Friday evening it was empty and there were ants crawling all over the tables - a pity because the food was ok - It was dirty and I would not return again

It was great...for chinese food. You can definitely not class this restaurant as thai food.....I've never been to a proper Thai restaurant that did not have kaffir lime leaves, good quality coconut milk and fresh chillies in a thai curry. What a con....A CHINESE TRYING TO BE THAI. To say the least it was disappointing and an insult to Thai cuisine! There are plenty of other genuine Thai restaurants around merseyside so PLEASE....DO NOT BE FOOLED!
Tada
I visit Liverpool as a tourist. I was disappointed as the food is not original thai!!!!!!the test is more like chinese food. ( all staff and chefs are not THAI)

Siam Garden
I brought the family here on a Friday night, we really enjoyed it. The room was packed which always bodes well The starters of soup all round went down really well especially the hot and sour (I got to eat 2 bowls:) We shared a couple of bottles of wine that were fine and the service is attentive but a little too much from the do you want another drink? school of thought. Saying that we were enjoying it regardless, the mains were an odd mix as they all cam on sizzlers which i haven? seen in a Thai before mine was nice enough.

I'd recommend the Siam Garden to anyone who likes Thai food or a bit bored with Chinese. Visited the place a few years ago and have been a regular since. I especially like the spare ribs, tom yam gai and chicken pad ped. Fresh ingredients and expertly flavoured. A great alternative to Chinese. Service is good, atmosphere warm and moorish food. What more do you want? You might not become as big a fan as me but your sure to enjoy a visit. Book ahead! You wont be the only one!

Not the best Thai food I've had on Merseyside, but I suppose it's better than the other place in Liverpool that I've tried. The service is great - quick, friendly and polite - but the green curry I had was disappointingly not as authentic as I'd hoped. However, the restaurant has a good ambience, and the other punters there seemed to be having a great time!
Siam Garden
The Siam Garden was my first venture into Thai food and it won't be my last ! As a fan of Indian cuisine I expected the transition to Thai food to be relatively easy, and it was. My partner however does not like highly spiced meals but there are enough choices on the menu for all tastes. The service is attentive, but the relaxed atmosphere stops it from being overbearing. Prices are reasonable and I would advise booking ahead for the weekend as it was extremely busy on the Saturday night that we visited. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who already likes Thai food, or is looking to try it.
