I visit Sidmouth Tandoori once a week usually on my own on a week night evening. The quality of food is absolutely superb, and way above the standard of what other Indian food is available in a wide radius. Staff are genuine and really friendly, you get good portions of food (vegetable curry is served as standard with a shaslik). Alcohol is allowed to be brought in with no corkage charge, a far cheaper option than most restaurants and a wide range of soft drinks and tea/coffee is also available. Well recommended.

I have eaten at the Sidmouth tandoori several times and have never had a bad experience. Their food is delicious, cooked to perfection and the service is excellent.
I recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes Indian food and also to anyone who doesn't because chances are they will after eating there!
Mr Murphy
i have eaten there 3 times and the food was plentiful but sadly as with a lot of indian restaurants in England they put heat instead of flavour.
chillies rather than spices.
the staff were very friendly and the radway beer was excellent.

The Sidmouth Tandoori has just had a make over, with hand painted Indian Scenes, this has certainly raised the ambience.
The food is as ever very good, Highly recommended, i have visited India 10 times and this restaurant reflects Indian food perfectly. Keep up the good work

This is a tiny, family run restaurant, a little quirky but well loved by locals. It's unlicensed but The Radway Pub (next door but one) will sell you a beer and let you take the glass back later :)
