This is the best pub in Manchester, by far! The building is beautiful and seeped in fascinating history, which you can learn about from framed photos and articles around the place. There is a good mix of clientele, from young students to office workers and oldies. It is non-smoking, which is a pleasant change; the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. I have always found the staff to be friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable of the pub's drinks selection! Which is good btw if you are a beer drinker. It is s Samuel Smith's pub and sells their full range; the prices of pints are very cheap, but definitely not nasty. I can strongly recommend the stout. They have the usual spirits but they are not much to speak of and are averagely priced but the draught and bottled beer more than makes up for it. I have tried several items from the menu and found them all to be excellent, the only problem with Sinclair's is it' size, it is often jam-packed with barely room to move, let alone find a table..
Sinclairs Oyster Bar
The atmosphere at Sinclairs is something you'll find nowhere else in Manchester. Really cheap prices and quick service. Perfect place to come on a sunny day or on a night out. My favourite place to have a drink and generally a fantastic time.
Sinclairs Oyster Bar
The ambience of this place has to be tested to believe. Wonderful staff, quality beers and excellent choice of quality food. On a sunny day,"Shambles Square" as we still call it, is a match for Paris, Amsterdam or Madrid.
Sinclairs Oyster Bar
Fabulous food and drinks. The price was the best in the city center. The staff were well mannered and pleasant (shame about the uniforms), especially that lovely camp young male manager with the dark curtained hair. I'd go back there again just to be served by him. Julian x
Sinclairs Oyster Bar
Not really traditional, the food was something you would expect down any old pub.
Sinclairs Oyster Bar
fantastic place to eat and drink
Sinclairs Oyster Bar
30 seconds away from the bright lights of the trendy modern bars and clubs that make up the Printworks sits the very old, but nevertheless magnificent Sinclairs Oyster Bar.
Nicknamed 'The shambles', the building is a small wooden hut with two floors where the crowd, old and young alike come for an after work drink or to start a night on the town. Anything goes!! It has to be seen to be beleived, you will fall in love with the friendly atmosphere and the cheap beer, (Homebrew no less. The pils is lethal!) The pub was moved after the manchester bomb in 1996 and withstood the bomobs of WW2, the history is literally on the walls!! It proves to be a second home to many mancunian drinkers. Sitting outside in the nice weather is a must!!!
The grubs not bad either!
