Don't usually get involved with reviews but I felt the need go on record.
The food in this restaurant is expensive and not very good. We will not be calling again. I am not a tourist.

A hidden little gem, a real great find. We arrived at 7.30 and we were greeted by a very friendly welsh person, who soon made is feel very welcome and relaxed. The menu was great, catering for all dietary needs, with local produce and everything homemade, including the bread (yum yum) the service was very efficient and the food was very well presented and tasted amazing! Well worth a visit

Our first visit to Squid Ink won't be our last. During a week in Looe, we booked a table for our 'dressy' night out and we were really pleased we did. The restaurant is stylish and relaxing in a traditional building tucked away and the staff were friendly and efficient. The food was delicious; fresh, full of flavour, beautifully presented and perfect portion sizes. We recommend the surf n turf, the John Dory and stew and the white chocolate cheesecake. We also tried a bottle of the local Cornish vineyard wine, which went down very easily! A big cafetiere of fresh coffee rounded off a gorgeous meal. Price wise, even with the added bonus of getting the puds for free due to mentioning Sugarvine, it was about £80 with wine for 2, which is excellent value for money and on a par with a number of the other restaurants in the town. This place really deserves to do well.
