Amazing? Carvery, so obviously not. Good? Absolutely. Meat not cremated, veg fresh and varied. Kids eat free on a Sunday too, so less than £20 (£19.42) for a hearty lunch and a round of drinks for the 4 of us. What's not to like?

I love the Squirrel and go at least once a week, However my friends and I went a few weeks ago and after our meal went outside for a cigarette leaving our bags and coats inside. When we came back in our things and drinks were moved. I had a quick word with the manager who gave us our things back but advised we had no drinks on the table, we advised we had and told them what drinks we had. He said there was only a glass of orange on our table. We were spoken to very rudely and felt like we did not want to go again. I was upset as we were treated badly and almost accused of lying about the drinks.

Standard carvery food, pile your plate high and enjoy. At busy times can have a long wait for a table or a long queue for the food. At quiet times then the food can be hanging around a bit and go a bit dry. But generally the standard of food is really good and great value for money. Could do with labels on food to let you know whether they are suitable or not people with nut allergies, vegetarians etc.

Quite...avoid pension days your likely to be bowled over by the blue rinse brigade ...........and the reason for that is it is superb value for money! The best value carvery in lancashire that i've been to .......great drink deals 1.5l jug of fruit juice for £1.95 and food quality is good despite the volume! Feed your family for not much more than a Mcdonalds!

Good quality food at a reasonable price. Service was excellent. However due to popularity you may have to wait for a table!
