We have loved every mouthful of our meal. It seems it has just been taken over in the past couple of months, though you would never know. It feels like they have been established for years! The menu is outstanding and beautifully executed. The fresh bread is just fantastic. Service is excellent. We are looking forward to being regulars !

My family went for the second time today. Last time I had a perfect sea trout with pepper coulis sauce. Today for an extremely good value Sunday lunch I have a roast beef dinner which was the best tasting I could ever have imagined. Eat here and you'll never want to eat out anywhere else again. Cannot be missed during a holiday to St Ives.

A beautiful setting — double height space lined with modern art tucked away off the main drag. Very stylish yet still warm and welcoming. It has an interesting menu with a wide range of flavours. I've always had the pork belly about which I have actually dreamt and drooled! Not cheap but well worth it as a holiday treat. Make sure you visit at least once during your stay.

Went last Sunday to try their lunch and we had a really nice time, everything was good, the welcome, service, atmosphere and the food. Slow roasted pork belly, leeks with pernod and fennel was excellent, as were the desserts, especially the pistachio, almond and cardamon tart. We felt it was great value.

It's not often that you find a restaurant where you want to try everything, but that's what we discovered on holiday in St Ives. St Andrew's Street Bistro offers the freshest ingredients, expertly cooked and presented. It was so difficult to choose that we had to return the following night to sample more of the imaginative menu. Their prices are very reasonable, the atmosphere comfortable and welcoming, and the service friendly. What more could you ask!

Found this restaurant whilst looking for another! The owner was very welcoming, and we had some excellent mackerel and local lamb. Happy to entertain children, but beware that the 'childrens' menu' really runs to small portions of the adult dishes or pasta, and at £5 for a bowl of tagliatelle with butter, that's not great value. However, it is still a lovely place to eat, with a good selection of wines and spirits.

Very pleasant warm and cosy for a wintry nice, Busy even on a Sunday evening, the Lebanese style soup was wonderful. All was carefully cooked.

We have visited St Ives for over 15 years - we stumbled on this bistro.... what a find!! Its like Lucy finding Narnia...Fantastic, honest, fresh, gorgeous food....lovely staff...divine wine...The meal was a symphony of tastes & the chef is a conductor....It was truly exceptional. Go along, try it. Kids are welcome. We don? have any but didn? care. If you love food, love wine, love your partner & want a good evening then this is where you should be....

I love this restaurant as every time we go the menu changes and there are loads of delicious things to tempt me. The vegetarian choices are fantastic and I was impressed when the chef agreed to make me a special vegetarian roast dinner one sunday. The St Andrew's Street Bistro is a refreshing change and gives us great value for money and a really exciting menu.
