Man.. what can I say. Being half Greek myself, living in North London, and traveling to Cyprus/Greece, plus lot's of the Greek Islands.. I was absolutely amazed by the hospitality from the Proprietors (George & Stavros) and professionalism from the staff... and lets not forget the food, ALL classic Cypriot/Greek dishes with authentic ingredients, with the freshness of the local fish and meat dishes on offer. It's worth a visit.. I recently had a weeks holiday in Newquay.. and went there 3 times. The restaurant is also open for early lunches, so a light Greek snack is worth it's while before indulging yourself into Newquay's high life!!! WICKED!!!!! Jason

After going to Newquay for a long weekend from London, what better than to be in a fabulous resort after having a day in the surf than to go to a brilliant restaurant like Stavros Taverna. The food was wonderful, and having eaten in many Cypriot tavernas in London this was up with the best of the best. Stavros was a peach making sure, as in true Cypriot style that everyone was having a good time. The atmosphere was great. I can highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

I've been to Stavros Taverna a few times now and I'd recommend this restaurant to everyone looking for a great night out! The atmosphere is like none other restaurant in Newquay, the staff are friendly and the food is amazing, I would especially recommend the Stavros Meze without a doubt!
