Arrived at the restaurant at 7.30 as per our booking to find it was closed, doors locked and staff outside telling us they are out of a job! No call to let us know and just received an email asking for a review! RIP Stock!

No need to head to the riverside for a top dining experience; Stock on Gosforth High Street offers a high class experience. We had fantastic food, in a restaurant with a fantastic interior and most of all the service was great. As someone else has mentioned, they catered for a food allergy attentively and without fuss, which is a breath of fresh air! We had a memorable night out, thankyou Stock. We’ll be back!

Another fabulous visit to this restaurant. Excellent food, great staff and a lovely atmosphere. Every dish was amazing and beautifully presented. We’ve never had anything here that wasn’t excellent. They also cater for anyone who needs to eat gluten free without any fuss and are willing to adapt dishes as necessary. Well done…..a lovely modern restaurant serving delicious food with excellent service.

Another fabulous meal at Stock! We’ve had dinner there 4 or 5 times now and Sunday lunch 3 and every time the food has been amazing and the service excellent. We will definitely return!

Excellent restaurant on Gosforth High Street. Chose this for my mothers birthday lunch because I had been before with my daughter and had been very impressed. We ate from the lunch menu which is a good value for the luxury ambience and high class food. Although short it covered a range of tastes so suitable for my mother's conservative style ( e.g. high quality fish and chips) and our more adventurous tastes. All 5 of us were happy with our choices. Lovely atmosphere with white table cloths, booths, fairy lights and candles even for lunch. Only slight negative - our table was nearest to the door & encountered drafts when door opened (very cold day even though April). Could have done with more customers. Staff couldn't do more. Made a lovely real melted chocolate decoration for my mothers dessert.

Couldn’t fault our meal. The knowledge and attentiveness of the service was very good. A great experience overall and would definitely visit again.
