Good to see Sukhis Restaurant has a good mention in Sugarvine. I have been to this restaurant on a number of occasions when visiting Darwen with my wife, who was a Darwen girl before moving to Australia. June 2009 was our last visit and we enjoyed Sukhis hospitality with his friendly, courteous staff. . Still looking for a perfect Chicken Tikka Marsala as nothing comperes in Australia. It wont be long before we come back.

We to Sukhis on Saturday night with my husband. It has a great vibe, the staff are brilliant and the food fantastic! We ordered far too much food though. Will definitely be a favourite of ours for a curry.

We have been eating at Sukhis since Sukhi took it over. We have never been disappointed with our meals. The portions are very generous and the food is delicious. The staff are very friendly and with a couple of days notice they will provide you with the meal of your choice even if it is not on the menu. We eat here at least once a month sometimes more often. On Friday evenings they now provide entertainment by a magician. We can guarantee you will not be disappointed if you eat here.

Although we live 200 miles from Sukhis,we visit the restaurant every time we are in the north. I particularly like the way the waiters discuss the menu with you not just take your order. The food itself is superb with portions being very generous. The waiter even enticed my daughter to try a king prawn bhuna (spiced down a bit) as an alternative to korma. I don't think she'll look back! All in all a wonderful experience and we look forward to our next visit. Highly recommended.

I've been eating here for about 4/5 years now and I've never been disappointed - I must have eaten about every vegetarian dish on the menu and they have always been brilliant! The staff are always friendly and welcoming as well.

We've been coming to Sukhi's for over 5 years and eat here at least once a week and very often twice, usually on a Saturday and mid-week. Over this time, between us we must have had just about every dish on the menu and never been disappointed. What's more, if you want to vary a dish or fancy something that you can't see on the menu, the chef will always cook it to suit your taste - making it an endless choice! The staff are very friendly, efficient and nothing is too much trouble to them. I've recommended Sukhi's to lots of people and they all agree that it's a great place to eat.

I eat at Sukhis all the time and his food is delicious.He's a great host and all the staff welcoming and confident in serving customers.I have visited as part of a large group and for a good meal and gossip with a friend and always the service is great and the atmosphere relaxed.If you cannot make up your mind from the menu Sukhi is always happy to discuss your likes and dislikes and offer suggestions .I have never been disappointed with his suggestions. The recent refurbishment has given the restaurant a more modern feel whilst keeping the warm welcoming feel to the place .Sukhis is without doubt the best Indian restaurant around
